New Challenge at Frosted Designs PLUS a New Video!

Hey there everyone.
Today I have a mixed media layout to share.
I have used lots of different textures. I just love textures and splatters.. I've been a little obsessed with them lately! :o)

This week over at Frosted Designs Challenge Blog we have a new challenge and the theme is Stamping. Go figure, I'd pick THAT as my topic, as I am hosting this challenge. I have used the GORGEOUS stamp from Prima Marketing. Jamie Dougherty's Bloom Girl Stamps are simply amazing and you have so much room for experimenting with Copics! I LOVE IT!
I have used the Frosted Designs August Kit, 'Summer's End'. I've also used Gelatos and molding paste. I just love all of the layers using all of these different mediums. Here's a little video on putting my creation together. Enjoy!

Bloom Girl Mixed Media page!

Happy Wednesday, all!
It's something I NEVER do. I completed a project and left it 'uncolored'! Shocking, right!?

It's my turn to post over on the Bloom Girls Design Team Blog. If you haven't checked it out you really need to! We have a monthly challenge all you have to do is be inspired by our inspiration photo and share it with us!

I used my Gelatos and I really love these nifty little things! The colors are gorgeous, I just love the way they blend. I used my favorite Bloom Girl 'Summer'. I love this stamp, she's so beautiful and you can do so much with her. If you haven't gotten this stamp yet you can find out where to get this one and any of Jamie's other Bloom Girl Products HERE.

I plan on doing a YouTube video to show you how I color her. If you haven't checked out my YouTube Channel.. please do. I have Copic videos and 1 mixed media card.. more mixed media to come, too.

Class Kits FOR SALE!!!!

These are left over kits from my local classes that I teach.
There's no stamped image -- instead I have added actual stamps to go with the kits. Each kit comes with a photo of how the card is put together and Copic list which matches the papers.

**Note**
The image on the photo IS different than the stamps that are in each kit.
If you have any questions or interested in purchasing one of these kits please email me at StampinMindy AT Yahoo.com

Thanks you!!!

More Lili of the Valley.. more youtube videos!!!!

Hey there all you crafty peeps!

Today I have a  mixed media card to share. I have used papers from Lili of the Valley. They are called 'Festive Trimmings'! I just love the colors. The image is from the newly released stamps, this one is 'Cold Hands, Warm Hearts' It's such a sweet image I'm a sucker for the snow peeps!

I have 2 new YouTube Videos up.. Woo Hoo! Go me!!!

The new Copic video is of me coloring the image in this card. I wanted to show everyone how I get that little bit of extra depth when coloring. Believe it or not.. all I do is add 1 extra color..  in this video, 'N5'. It makes a HUGE difference when coloring!

The other Video is also of this card and how I put it together and gave a little 'mixed media' feel to it.
I hope you enjoy the videos. Have a wonderful day!

No Line Stamping with a Bloom Girl!

Hello there, It's my turn to share on the Bloom Girls DT Blog!!

Today I have a wall hanging to share. I actually found a 6x7 piece of wood and covered it will all sorts of goodies. I had this piece of Prima paper that had this beautiful border which I never could cover up. So I decided to stamp Bloom Girl 'Karlie' in my Desert Sand Memento ink and have at it with my Copics. I really distressed my paper edges and laid a piece of cheesecloth under my paper before gluing it on the piece of wood.

I added some Prima Wood Pieces for some different textures.
I also found this quote, it was a sticker and I cut it up and added some more dimension. I just love the quote, I think it fits the image perfectly!

I cut the clock out of the same paper and then added some flowers all around. I did add some Crackle Accents and molding paste all around the edges everything! It's a little hard to see in the photo though.

If you haven't already, you should follow the Bloom Girl DT Blog.
We have a monthly challenge and you could use any stamp and make type of project, too.

I'd also like to enter this into the Prima Picks August Challenge
