Baby.. it's cold outside...

Hello everyone! I've been a little behind on things the last few days. I feel like all I've been doing is cleaning, putting stuff away, cooking, cleaning... ALL DAY!!! Today I put away all the Christmas stuff. When it's over, it's over.. I can't have it linger through New Years. So I have my house back.. so I can get back to the ole' crafting grind! Tomorrow I will anyways!

I have been working on my next class over at Color me Creative. I have Pre-Registration up. It's called Magnolia Copic Class 3 - This and That. You can read about all the techniques you can learn HERE!

Now for my Little Darlings card, which is fashionably late :). Our theme over at
Little Darlings Challenges is 'Cold'. I used Little Darlings - Snowy Friends. Remember, you do NOT have to use a Little Darlings image to participate. We are starting to have a top 3.. which the entire top 3 will win something! How cool is that!?!? So hurry on over and check it out and join us!

Have a great rest of the week!

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Here's a card I made for my friend Sherri. She loves pink, like me. I used an image from
Saturated Canary Etsy shop. I just adore Krista Smiths's art. She's uber talented. You've gotta check out her store if you haven't already.

Well today, or shall I say yesterday, I made 3 cards. It felt like I hadn't made a card in forever. My girls and I also baked some cookies for 'Santa'. We made peanut butter, chocolate chip and sugar. Someone needs to come over and eat them... so I DON'T!

Well, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Eve.
I'm crossing my fingers that I do..

Lots of red!

Hi there!

Today there's a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy. Our theme is Monochrome plus sparkle. I used my 2 Tilda's to create this snow scene. I  covered the snow in star dust stickles for my sparkle. This is one of the cards I made for Diana for CHA, the one I posted yesterday was also for her. If you happen to be at the Anaheim CHA in January I'll be there in the Scor-Pal/Magnolia Mini booth! Yippie!! I cannot wait. I had so much fun last year, I'm honored that Diana asked me to return.

Well I hope you will join us for Fussy and Fancy this week.

Tilda's ice skating.

Hello my friends from all over the world!
I have a new card and some things to share with you today. Today over at Cute Card Thursday our challenge is stripes. I've used some striped paper. I masked these mini Magnolia snowy trees behind Ice Skater Tilda and I used my Copics to create the icy pond. How'd I do??? I used my white gel pen to make snow flurries all over.

I just wanted to remind you all about the Magnolia-licious All Wrapped Up Contest. You could win a KINDLE! So hurry on over to the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog for the details.
Well, I've been asked by my friend Bev to join a new challenge blog, it's called Lili's Little Faries. I just couldn't resist! Thanks so much Bev for thinking of little ole me! Jacqui has some candy to share in celebration of this new challenge.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. Today we have a new challenge over at Little Darlings. Our theme for this challenge is Christmas. I masked these 2 cuties, Decorating The Tree and All For Me. I wanted to make a round card to resemble a wreath , so I pulled out my Edwin Lace Die to give it that look. Isn't it cute! The sentiment is made by me and you can use it too! Check out my Free Digi Sentiments page!

I hope you will play along at Little Darlings. Remember you do not have to use a Little Darlings image but the prize is greater if you do! :)

Have a great day!

Mini Magnolia Ornament Tutorial!

Hello everyone! I've gotten so many emails and questions about the plastic ornaments I made using the Mini Magnolia's. So here's my tutorial! There's LOTS of pictures, I'm sorry if they take a while to load or make your computer lag.

Supply List

Mini #3092 Tucked Tilda, Christmas Sentimen Stamp, Crafters Tacky Glue, Silver German Glass Glitter, Bakers Twine, Roses or Flowers, Crop o dile, eyelet, ribbon, Q-Tip, Oval Spellbinder Nestabilities, 2 ovals, one with your image and one with a sentiment, Plastic Ornament from Michaels (.99)

Put your stamped image and sentiment image back to back and use your Crop-o-Dile to make a hole.

Place your eyelet in the hole.

Tie your twine in the eyelet. Leaving the strings a little long. I would say 3-4 inches on each strand.

Put the image aside and get your ornament and take off the silver cap.

Pour your tacky glue inside.

Using your Q-Tip spread the glue all along the bottom of the ornament.

I made swirls to make it look like snow.

Add a few pinches of white FlowerSoft.

Shake it around covering the glue.

Then I add a little Silver German Glass Glitter and shake that around.

Now grab your image and round it around your finger.

Tada!

Squeeze it into the ball, leaving the twine out.

Make sure you hold the twine, so you can control the way your image is placed.

Now, with your pinky, or maybe a pencil, push, flattening the image.

Like this....

and this...

Now pull place the twin on each sid of the ornament, centering your image.

Pop the silver cap back on.

Add bows, flowers or whatever you like.

Here' the back.

Here's the first one I did, I decorated it a little different.

And the back.

I hope this helps, if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Have a great day!
